Gantz: ‘We have stopped Israel’s rush to disaster’

National Unity leader MK Benny Gantz arrived Saturday evening at a demonstration against the judicial reform in Hod Hasharon, in which thousands of people participated.
“I came today to thank the many protesters who take to the streets, bridges, and intersections week after week. Thanks to you, thanks to your supporting spirit, we were able to stop Israel’s rush to disaster,” Gantz said. “We will do everything to reach agreements while maintaining our principles and preserving Israeli democracy.”

Former Defense Minister MK Moshe ‘Bogey’ Ya’alon (National Unity) addressed the leaders of the opposition from the speaker’s stand at a similar protest on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv, and called on them not to take part in the negotiations at the President’s Residence.
“Lapid and Gantz, stop being the ‘fig leaf’ for the government of destruction – leave the talks and demand that the reform be abandoned,” he said.
