A terrorist shooting attack was carried out in Kikar Adam in the Binyamin region this evening (Thursday), following the firing of dozens of rockets at Israel from Lebanon and Gaza over the first day of Passover.’
One person was lightly to moderately wounded in the attack. According to initial reports, the shooter opened fire from a passing vehicle and fled the scene.
Security forces are currently searching for the shooter. Route 60 has been closed off as a result of the search.
Magen David Adom reported that the victim is currently being taken to the hospital in Jerusalem.
The attack comes as terrorist from Gaza launched seven rockets at Israel during the Seder night, and terrorists from Lebanon fired 36 rockets at Israel over the course of the day, wounding two Israelis.
