Syrian reports: Israel carried out air strike on Aleppo airport

Syrian media reported overnight Tuesday that Israel carried out an air strike in the Aleppo area.
According to the reports, the attack targeted the airport in Aleppo, and the country”s air defense systems were activated.
It was also reported that explosions were heard in the area, but there are no reports of injuries or damages at this time.
About a week and a half ago, Syrian media reported that Israel conducted an air strike in the Masyaf region in the western part of the country.
According to the reports, explosions were heard in the Masyaf area, and the Syrian air defense systems were activated against the “Israeli attack”.
The week before, media outlets in Syria reported that explosions were heard in the vicinity of the military airport in the city of Aleppo, as a result of an air strike which was attributed to Israel.
According to the reports, several targets belonging to Iranian militias at the airport were attacked.

In mid-February, Syrian media reported a missile attack on the capital Damascus, which was blamed on Israel.
Some reports said the airs trike targeted a warehouse of Iranian arms that were on their way to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon.
