Israeli man shot in the head in Huwara terrorist shooting

A terrorist shooting attack was reported near the Arab town of Huwara in Samaria Sunday afternoon, at the site of another terrorist shooting attack last month.
Two people were wounded in the attack, one of whom is said to be in serious condition with a head wound, while the other was treated for shock.
According to initial reports, the victims are a husband and wife, both in their 30s.
Witnesses say the terrorist walked up to the victims’ vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
Emergency first responders from Hatzalah Without Borders, Magen David Adom (MDA), and an IDF medical team were dispatched to the scene, treating the victims before evacuating them to the hospital via ambulance.
An MDA spokesperson said the attack occurred near the Inabus Junction.
“We met up with a vehicle at Inabus Junction, together with an army medical team,” said senior MDA paramedic Moshe Meir Shimon.
“We provided medical treatment to a man in his 30s who was seriously wounded with a gunshot wound in his upper body. We also treated a woman who was suffered from shock. We quickly transferred them to two ambulances and evacuated them to the hospital, while the man was in serious condition.”
Israeli security personnel launched a manhunt for the terrorist, locating him shortly after the attack.
IDF soldiers opened fire on the terrorist, neutralizing him.
The attack comes less than a month after a similar attack in Huwara on February 26th, in which two brothers from Har Bracha, Hallel Yaniv and Yagel Yaniv, were killed.
