Following the horrific terrorist attack near Eli, MK Limor Son Har-Melech (Otzma Yehudit) spoke at the Knesset plenum on Tuesday night and demanded a large-scale military operation in Judea and Samaria.
The start of her speech was delayed as Son Har-Melech was fighting back tears.
“I would like to wish a full recovery to the injured and send condolences to the families of the murdered,” she began her speech. She later quoted the verse from Deuteronomy 32:43: “O nations, acclaim God”s people! For He”ll avenge the blood of His servants, wreak vengeance on His foes, and cleanse His people”s land.”
Son Har-Melech demanded that the political echelon decide on a military operation in Judea and Samaria. “We are demanding a military operation. If anyone has not yet understood why, then it is necessitated by reality. A response, Operation Defensive Shield-style, is required in Judea and Samaria today.”
