A university in Pennsylvania has condemned antisemitic symbols discovered in one of its classrooms last week.
According to Susquehanna University President Jonathan Green, two swastikas were found on a whiteboard in a classroom in Apfelbaum Hall, The Daily Item reported.
“Let us be clear: this is an antisemitic symbol of hate,” Green said in a message to the campus community. “Swastikas have long been used to terrorize Jewish people and promote a white supremacist agenda.”

He added that “Hate does not belong here.” According to Green, an investigation has been opened into the swastikas and two previous reports of hate incidents.
A temporary sign will be installed in the classroom where the incident occurred. Training sessions on antisemitism will also take place, Green said in the memo.
