A man in his 40s, a resident of Bat Yam, was arrested on Friday after opening fire in the lobby of the Dan Panorama Hotel in the resort city of Eilat.
The Dan Panorama Eilat Hotel said that the shooting at the hotel was carried out by “a citizen who is staying on a private vacation and is a member of the security forces and who accidentally fired a bullet from his personal weapon.”
The hotel also stated that “fortunately, there were no injuries and no damage was caused.”
