Four people were murdered within four hours in a spate of violence across Israel on Wednesday night.
In one incident, a 40-year-old man was shot dead in Holon. Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene found him lifeless and pronounced him dead.
The Israel Police said the incident was criminal in nature, and the circumstances are being investigated.
About an hour later, a woman in her 30s was found dead in her home in the Bedouin town of Ar’arat an-Naqab (Arara) in the Negev. Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced her dead. The police launched an investigation.
On Wednesday evening, a man was shot in Kafr Yasif, an Arab town in northern. Medical officials evacuated him in critical condition to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where he was pronounced dead.
Earlier, a 25-year-old man was shot dead in the haredi city of Elad. Police said the incident is criminal nature.
The man was found in critical condition in a yard between two buildings. Magen David Adom paramedics provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
Police forces are searching for the suspected shooters.
