In celebration of Israel’s 75th Independence Day, which begins tonight, Assuta Hospital in Ashdod dressed the newborns in its maternity ward in blue and white, the colors of the Israeli flag.
The hospital stated: “Especially in such a challenging year full of disagreement within Israeli society, this is an important reminder that despite everything, we are one nation with a common past and a joint future.”
“Our flag symbolizes our inseverable connection to this land and our responsibility to stay united for the sake of the children of tomorrow,” the hospital added.
