One person was shot and killed in northern Israel Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on Route 73, near the entrance to Kibbutz Yifat.
Emergency first responders from MDA and United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene to treat the victim, a man roughly 40 years of age. Shortly after their arrival, however, the victim was declared dead.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting.
