Journalist to AG: ‘Who chose you?’

Journalist Ayala Hasson slammed Israel’s Attorney General, Gali Baharav-Miara, for ignoring a large portion of the country’s population.
“We have here an attorney general who simply ignores an enormous portion of Israeli society, and sees them as unimportant fools,” Hasson told Galei Israel Radio.
“She relies on those who protect her reputation from above – from the media, from the courts, from the Prosecutor’s Office, and from politics. She relies on this important, influential small handful – and she does not care about the public. She thinks that this population is a stupid, powerless herd.”

Hasson added, “I, as much as I am able, no matter how much flack and criticism I get, I will be a mouthpiece for this public, which will echo these things and say that the emperor is naked. You’re exposed, Mrs. Miara.”
“There is a commissioner in the police who decides that he is reorganizing the district command. So now he’s not allowed to do that? Who chose you, Mrs. Miara?” she concluded.
