Terrorists on Monday evening opened fire towards Kibbutz Meirav, located on the downward slopes of Mount Gilboa, around ten kilometers southwest of Beit She’an.
A hit on a house in the community was identified, but miraculously, there were no injuries.
It is believed the shooting was carried out from the adjacent Arab village of Jalbun. IDF soldiers are searching the area for suspects.
Earlier on Monday evening, a man in his 30s was lightly to moderately wounded in a terrorist stabbing attack at the Gush Etzion Junction.
A female terrorist was neutralized during the attack, the IDF stated.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before evacuating him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. The victim suffered a stabbing wound to his upper body. He is fully conscious and in stable condition.
