Why cover the cover of the Tabernacle?

This week we start reading about the building of the Mishkan (Tabernacle).
The Mishkan was somewhat of a tent, and as a tent in the desert, it also had a cover to it, called “Yeri”ot.”
However, very interestingly, the Mishkan didn”t have only one cover. It actually had three or maybe even four different covers!
And not only did it have different covers, the outer cover was actually made out of a very rough and perhaps even ugly material from goats.
What”s this all about?
What is the purpose of these covers and what does it teach us?
