Likud MK to INN: There are no opponents of the judicial reform in the coalition

MK Hanoch Milwidsky of the Likud told Israel National News in an interview on Monday that the coalition is determined to advance the judicial reform, after the opposition ended the talks on a compromise at the President’s Residence.
“It is possible to advance the judicial reform and this is the right step. We are committed to our voters on this issue and already this week we are starting to move forward with the issue of reasonability. It is clear that the last three months were one big fraudulent act on the part of Gantz and Lapid. We are taking the legislation into our hands and legislating responsibly what we think is right for the people of Israel,” Milwidsky explained.
He dismissed the claim that members of the coalition who voted for MK Karine Elharrar (Yesh Atid) to be a part of the Judicial Selection Committee may thwart the advancement of the reform.

“There are no people in the coalition who oppose the judicial reform. Those who voted for Karine Elharrar to Judicial Selection Committee did it behind a screen, because they know that this is the only way to escape the public eye. At the faction meeting, everyone voted in favor, so I believe that when there are no screens, the entire coalition will align and there will be a solid majority to pass what is needed,” said Milwidsky.
