Police work to stop illegal PA Arab infiltrators in two weekend operations:

Over the weekend, Israeli police launched two separate operations to fight the phenomenon of Arabs from Palestinian Authority-controlled territory who illegally infiltrate Israel to find employment.
In an operation in the city of Modiin, police raided a construction site that was housing and employing some 20 illegal aliens from PA-controlled territory in Judea and Samaria. The site was ordered to be closed for a period of 10 days.

In another operation on Saturday night, Border Police officers and volunteers operated against illegal Arab infiltrators in the Lachish region in southern Israel.
During the operation, the forces identified several suspects crossing the border fence and entering a vehicle. The forces followed the vehicle and set up a roadblock which caused the vehicle to attempt to evade it, unsuccessfully.
The Border Police forces stopped the vehicle, and after the suspects exited the car, they attempted to flee, and the forces arrested them.

During the operation, Border Police forces arrested five illegal immigrants from the Hebron area and a Rahat resident in his 20s for transporting them. The suspects were transferred for questioning by the police.
According to the police, 284 illegal immigrants were arrested over the past week, along with 53 Israeli accomplices who assisted in transport, housing, and employment.
