An Israeli citizen and leftist activist attempted to physically attack Economy Minister Nir Barkat (Likud) during a protest held in Boston, Massachusetts.
Barkat’s security guards pushed away the attacker, preventing him from attacking.
As a result, Barkat himself did not suffer any injuries.

The attacker has been arrested by Boston police.
According to the protesters, Barkat’s security guards were the ones who attacked, and the alleged would-be attacker did not intend to hurt Barkat at all.
