Man falls to his death at Ein Gedi

A 60-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon after falling off a cliff in the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve in the south.
Magen David Adom emergency first responders and a team of IDF paramedics were dispatched to the scene to treat the man.
However, after multiple attempts to resuscitate him, paramedics were forced to declare the man dead at the scene.
Elazar Agassi, an MDA emergency medical technician, recounted, “We parked the ambulance near the nature reserve and proceeded on foot with all the equipment until we reached the injured man at the foot of the cliff.”
“He was unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing. We provided him with medical treatment and performed resuscitation procedures together with a military medical team that had arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, however, his injuries were severe, and we had to declare him dead at the scene.”
