Noa Kirel lands in Israel: ‘It was an experience I’ll never forget’

Singer Noa Kirel, who represented Israel in the Eurovision contest, landed Monday at Ben Gurion International Airport.
“It’s great to come home after feeling such great pride for so long,” she said.
Kirel won third place in the contest. Describing her experience, she said, “It surpassed my expectations, we put Israel on the map on the largest stage in the world. It was an experience that I will never forget, my entire life long. It was a great merit for me to represent the country.”

When asked what the future holds in store, she said, “I have received offers to perform at festivals around the world.”
“From here, I’m flying for a short two-and-a-half-day visit. I deserve it, no? I need to digest it all, to understand it all, to let my body rest, my knees rest, and then we’ll continue on.”
When asked where she would perform next, Kirel responded, “I don’t know. If someone would’ve told me a year ago that I would be in the Eurovision, I wouldn’t have believed it. It’s impossible to know where the next stage will be – we can only create reality, dream, and work hard.”
