Kan 11 News religious affairs reporter Akiva Weisz on Sunday evening announced his engagement to Elky Bergstein.
Weisz, 30, is from Bnei Brak and has been working with Kan 11 since 2016. Initially, he served as an economic reporter, but in 2018 he began reporting on religious affairs for the outlet.
Previously, Weisz was employed by various other media outlets, including Behadrey Haredim.

Bergstein, 26, is from the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem. She has been working for the past several months as a professional adviser to Immigration and Integration Minister Ofir Sofer (Religious Zionism). Prior to this, she worked at the Direct Polls research institute.
On Sunday night, the couple celebrated their engagement at the home of Bergstein’s parents in Har Nof.
