A chicken coop in the Eshkol Regional Council sustained a direct hit on Thursday afternoon after a barrage of rockets was fired at Israel from Gaza.
The coop sustained severe damage in the attack, which was the fifth strike that the town sustained within the space of a single hour.
In response to the rocket fire, IAF aircraft have attacked an Islamic Jihad headquarters used to direct antitank missiles.
Since Thursday morning, there have been six barrages of rockets fired towards Israel, all of them short-range and aimed at communities near Gaza.
The barrage which scored a hit on a chicken coop was fired just after noon, and was followed by another barrage at 1:49p.m.
On Wednesday night, homes in Ashkelon and Sderot sustained hits from Gaza rockets.
