Two Jews were attacked with pepper spray in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn on Wednesday night, ColLive reported.
The unprovoked assault against the two victims was attended to by a Shmira community safety patrol volunteer who tried to end the confrontation. However, instead the perpetrator also pepper sprayed him before fleeing the area.
The incident took place at around 7:15 p.m. after the suspect accosted in a threatening manner multiple people who he tried to assault, the report said.
Shmira tracked down the perpetrator who was arrested by the NYPD, according to ColLive.
