New poll: National Unity tops Likud by a single seat

A new poll conducted by Panels Politics for the Maariv newspaper showed that were elections to be held today, the parties currently in the opposition would hold a majority.
The poll also showed that MK Benny Gantz’s National Unity party would overtake the Likud as the largest party in the Knesset.
According to the poll, National Unity would receive 27 Knesset seats, followed closely by Likud with 26 seats. Yesh Atid would win 19 seats, down from its current 24.

Sephardic-haredi Shas would win nine seats, followed by United Torah Judaism (UTJ) with seven seats. Meretz, Hadash-Ta’al, and Yisrael Beytenu would each win six seats, while Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism would win five seats each. Ra’am (United Arab List) would be the smallest party, with just four seats.
Divided into blocs, the current opposition would win 62 seats, while the current coalition would win 52 seats. The remaining six seats are held by Hadash-Ta’al, which traditionally does not join any coalition.
