Mother of 11 crushed by her own car

A mother of eleven was crushed by her own car and killed Sunday, after her car rolled out of its parking space.
The incident occurred in a parking garage on Shevet Levi Street in the coastal city of Ashdod Sunday.
The victim, 44-year-old Galit Dabush, a resident of Ashdod, mother of 11 and grandmother of two, was walking in the parking garage when the car began rolling out of its parking space, crushing Dabush up against a wall.
Emergency first responders and fire and rescue teams were called to the scene to extract Dabush and treat her.
MDA paramedics were forced to declare Dabush dead at the scene, however.
“When we arrived, we saw an unconscious woman who was trapped between a car and the wall,” said MDA paramedics Shahar Adari and Uriel Lasri.
“After she was pulled out by the fire and rescue team, we performed medical examinations on her, but her injuries were critical and unfortunately we were forced to declare her death.”
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to a preliminary probe, the car did not malfunction, but began rolling because the parking brake was not applied and the car not put into the parking gear.
Dabush was laid to rest Sunday evening at the Ashdod cemetery.
