US President Joe Biden stated Monday that he will indeed run for reelection in 2024, but said that he is not ready to make an official announcement yet.
In an interview with NBC’s “Today” show, Biden said: “I plan on running … but we’re not prepared to announce it yet.”
Biden has been cautious until now in confirming his intention to seek reelection next year.

In February, the President said that he would “probably” run for reelection, but that he had not “made that decision” yet.
“I haven’t made that decision. That’s my intention, I think, but I haven’t made that decision firmly yet,” Biden told PBS NewsHour.
