Amid the promotion of the judicial reform and the protest against it and the wave of terrorist attacks, a poll published by Kan 11 News on Monday evening revealed that the majority of the public is concerned over the economic situation created as a result of the judicial reform.
The poll also revealed what the Knesset would look like if elections were to be held today.
Likud – 29 seats, Yesh Atid – 26 seats, National Unity – 15, Religious Zionist Party – 13 seats, Shas – 10, United Torah Judaism – 7, Ra’am – 6, Yisrael Beytenu – 5, Hadash-Ta’al – 5 and Meretz with 4 seats.
The data showed that the Likud is significantly losing its power due to the loss of secular and liberal voters, with the majority of those moving to the National Unity Party. Yesh Atid is getting stronger at the expense of the Yisrael Beytenu and Labor parties, and is getting closer to Likud. Labor, meanwhile, falls below the electoral threshold.
The bloc map stands at 59 seats for the coalition and 56 for the opposition (not including Hadash-Ta’al).
The poll also revealed that less than a third of the public supports the legislation of the judicial reform and that most respondents believe that there is a connection between Netanyahu’s trial and the advancement of the legislation.
On top of that, 46% of respondents believe that the coalition is responsible for the rift that has been caused following the promotion of the reform.
