Israel’s government has approved a state budget through the year of 2024.
The budget was voted on in a Cabinet meeting held today. Tourism Minister Haim Katz boycotted the meeting in protest against the amount allotted to his ministry.

The Ministry of National Security received an additional 9 billion shekels. The Ministry of Heritage received an additional half a billion shekels.
The total budget for the Ministry of Innovation was set at 535 billion shekels.
50 million shekel have been allotted for developing 5G cellular technology.
