During the past 8 years Rabbi Widmonte has taken many people, some being Holocaust survivors to Lithuania and Poland. The many visits have captivated his interest.
Rabbi Ramon Widmonte is the co-founder and Dean of the Academy of Jewish Thought and Learning, SA’s premier and largest adult education organisation in the Jewish space.
He is also the creator of the NED (National Education Development) programme – which aims to revolutionise SA education by equipping SA’s Jewish Studies and Hebrew teachers with the best in 21st century training, Masters and PhD qualifications.
Rabbi Widmonte is married to Julie and they have three precious children.
Rabbi Widmonte holds a BSc in Maths and Computers, and is currently an MA candidate at Middlesex University in Jewish Education.
He is the author of the world’s first translation of the Mahral’s Tiferet Yisrael
